A mixture of clean lines and eclectic features as a nod to the period house

This client wanted to create a kitchen with a mixture of clean lines and eclectic features as a nod to the period house. We sourced a beautiful antique butcher’s block and manufactured a more modern base using solid timber legs, a deep storage drawer and an oak slatted base. This design features flat fronted doors hung within a square frame creating a more contemporary feel.

A contrasting painted tongue & groove interior to compliment the island

Another important part of this brief was to create a small cabinet to mirror the shape and detailing of their existing antique shelving unit. We designed and manufactured a small, glazed cabinet with matching brackets and a contrasting painted tongue & groove interior to compliment the island.

Storage

Storage – Our clients had previously owned a walk-in pantry so for them a designated pantry cabinet was high on their priority list. We designed their pantry to suit the goods that they stocked daily. We love the co ordinating cold shelf combined with the U-shaped shelving and oak spice jar storage making the pantry easy to access and use. Rear mounted sockets making a designated hidden tea/coffee station.
